About the Journal

Aims & Scope

Journal of Neurodiversity Science is an international, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing research that contributes to the understanding of neurodiversity and to the development of effective educational, clinical, psychological, social, and community-based support. The journal primarily publishes original empirical research employing rigorous research methods across a broad range of disciplines. It also welcomes high-quality review articles, theoretical and conceptual papers, and position papers that make a significant contribution to the field.

The journal covers all aspects of neurodiversity and neurodivergent populations, including, but not limited to, development, learning, cognition, communication, behavior, mental health, education, employment, social participation, family support, clinical practice, welfare and social services, assistive technology, policy, and inclusive community practices. Our aim is to provide an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality, current, and methodologically rigorous research, and to promote interdisciplinary dialogue that contributes to a deeper understanding of neurodiversity and to the improvement of support, practice, and policy.
